The variety has been selected at Lisavenko Institute in 1997 by the method of chemical mutagenesis by treatment of Panteleevskaya variety.

Bush is vigorous with moderate thorns.

Berries are large size (0.8-1.0 g) of cylindrical shape, orange colored.

Taste is sweet-sour. It has long pedicle (5-6 mm) with moderate tear-off force.

Ripening period is the end of August - beginning of September.

Directions of utilization: mostly for processing, but also could be used for fresh eating.

Advantages: large berries size, high productivity, high efficiency on handpicking.

Disadvantages: bush is vigorous, comparatively many thorns, susceptibility to fusarium wilt

Summary... It was one of most popular variety till recently, because of high productivity, easy handpicking, but because of fusarium problem we recommend it only at your own risk.

This variety is available for purchasing in small amount (3-4 thousand plants per year).

The variety has been selected at Lisavenko Institute in 2003 from the seedlings of hybridization progeny of 61-72-12 (Chuyskaya free pollination) x 61-72-129 (Chuyskaya free pollination).

Bush of moderate growth, branches without thorns (only small on the tops).

Berries are moderate size (0.7-0.9 g) of oval shape, orange colored.

Taste is sweet with aroma.

It has moderate pedicle (4-5 mm) with moderate tear-off force.

Ripening period is the end of August.

Directions of utilization: for fresh eating.

Advantages: high level of palatability, high productivity, compact crown

Disadvantages: low efficiency on handpicking, short period of technical maturity (fast overripe).

Summary... It is one of the sweetest varieties in the world, like Altaiskaya. But compare to last one the productivity much more higher. It has absolutely delicious taste. Two problems only – very fast overripe and difficult at handpicking.

This variety is available for purchasing in small amount (3-4 thousand plants per year).

The variety has been selected at Lisavenko Institute in 1990 from the seedlings of free pollination of 23-60-793 (Krasnoyarskaya-22 x Sayan ecotype).

Bush of moderate growth, branches with small thorns.

Berries are small size (0.5-0.6 g) mostly roundish shape, red colored.

Taste is sour.

It has short pedicle (3-4 mm) with moderate tear-off force.

Ripening period is the beginning of September.

Directions of utilization: for processing only.

Advantages: high level of carotenoids.

Disadvantages: low efficiency on handpicking, small berries.

Summary... earlier it was the only red-colored variety that is very important for sbt oil production industry. But nowadays we have several other more interesting varieties from the point of view carotenoids content.

This variety is unavailable for purchasing.

The variety has been selected at Lisavenko Institute in 2009 from the seedlings of hybridization progeny of Luchezarnaya x 57-72-8-41 (Velikan x Katun ecotype).

Bush of moderate growth, branches without thorns.

Berries are large size (0.9-1.1 g) of wide-oval shape, mostly yellow colored.

Taste is sour.

It has short pedicle (3-4 mm) with moderate tear-off force.

Ripening period is the middle of September.

Directions of utilization: for processing mainly.

Advantages: high productivity, large berries size, comparatively late period of ripening.

Disadvantages: A very dense ears leads to low efficiency on handpicking.

Summary... Very interesting variety distinguished for high productivity and large berries size. The ripen period is a bit later compare to the main group of varieties that helps to prolong the harvesting period. However, very dense ears lead to decreasing handpicking efficiency.

This variety is available for purchasing in small amount (2-3 thousand plants per year).

ZOLOTISTAYA SIBIRI

The variety has been selected at Lisavenko Institute in 1985 from the seedlings of hybridization progeny of Scherbinki-1 x Katun ecotype.

Bush of moderate growth, branches with small thorns.

Berries are moderate size (0.7-0.8 g) of oval shape, orange colored.

Taste is sour.

It has moderate pedicle (4-5 mm) with moderate tear-off force.

Ripening period is the beginning of September.

Directions of utilization: for processing only.

Advantages: hard to say...

Disadvantages: small berries size.

Summary... We have no even picture of it. So, nothing to say.
