Maaria Katariina Kortesniemi

Born in December 1980.

She holds a Ph.D. in Food Chemistry from the University of Turku in Finland, she continues to serve as an Assistant Professor.

With a focus on food development, Maaria Kortesniemi has received numerous research grants from the Finnish Cultural Foundation and the University of Turku Foundation to support her work on food ingredients such as seabuckthorn. Her research achievements have not only enriched the knowledge base of the field of food chemistry but also provided vital scientific support for the development of the food industry.
